The Coleman Twinz
Hey y’all! We’re Dana & Danielle Coleman – proud 2008 alumni of Jackson State University and members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., initiated through the Delta Pi Chapter in 2006. Together, we’re known as The Coleman Twinz—and we’re so glad you’re here!
Our journey into business is rooted in family, faith, and creativity. Growing up, we watched our dad run Coleman Brothers Inc., his towing and wrecker company. We always planned to take over his business, which led us both to major in Accounting at JSU. Sadly, during our freshman year, our father passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack.
Although our plans changed, our entrepreneurial spirit never left. Over the years, we explored different creative passions—especially a deep love for planner supplies (yes, we’re still sticker and pen obsessed!). But it was during the 2020 pandemic that everything came together. After struggling to find quality face masks, our cousin taught us how to sew, and before long, we were knee-deep in fabric, sewing machines, and a new business.
That was just the beginning.
Today, The Coleman Twinz LLC has grown far beyond masks. We’ve found our true passion in custom apparel—especially T-shirts that celebrate Black culture, history, HBCU pride, and family legacy. We’re honored to now be licensed vendors for Jackson State University, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. We love helping our customers shine with bold, meaningful designs made just for them.
In March 2023, we lost our mother—our biggest supporter and motivation. Before she passed, she made us promise to keep going. Every product we create is a tribute to her encouragement, our father’s legacy, and our own love for community.
